  • I cannot say enough amazing things about Lindsey and Chloe Brock. They made Stella going to training as easy as possible. Stella is the princess of the house and she is like our child and Lindsey took her time coming to our home to pick her up, Let us become comfortable with her and explained everything step by step before taking Stella to “camp”. We got updates, pictures, videos, daily. We were able to call or text whenever we wanted to check on her. The never complained or acted like we were a burden. When she came back, she was so happy and you could tell that they had taking such amazing care of her. she was with them for two weeks and I almost think our Stella loved being there more than she likes being at home lol. they have become like family and Stella has two amazing aunts that have really helped her behavior and now we’re able to take her places which has improved her quality of life as well as ours. After her 2 week board and train we couldn't believe the difference. Here we are 2 years later and we couldn't have asked for a better dog for mom.   • "Shoelace our 2+ year old super smart, snuggly boy and Winnie our 1 year old fun-loving, good-natured girl have worked with Ellie to show just what sweet, behaved, and capable fur-babies they are. We got Shoelace during Covid, and knew socializing him was going to be a challenge when everyone was distancing, so Ellie helped us learn how to communicate with him, and taught him how to listen the first time. He became a well-adjusted dog very quickly! We followed suit with our second dog Winnie who has a lot of puppy energy! She now knows how to play by the rules (i.e.: don’t chomp the hand that throws the ball)! We plan to take our eventual third dog to training also…. Recently, Ellie attended our outdoor wedding reception as our friend/dog handler, and many of our guests were simply amazed at how well trained our pups were amidst all the tables of people (and food)!   • "Lindsey trained my rescue German Shepherd back in 2018 with a Board and Train and it was the best decision I ever made for him. He was anxious around strangers, stubborn, and mischievous but so darn lovable. Lindsey loved my boy as if he was her own and I got amazing photo and video updates along the way. He came back happy, confident, and most importantly, with the ability to have more freedom and trust, which made him a much happier dog. Leash walking was a reactive nightmare, and now he’s an off leash rockstar. I always get compliments like “Atticus listens so well!” And I make sure to let them know he didn’t come like that . It’s been almost 5 years since his time with Lindsey and he is STILL the goodest boy.   • "We’re SO glad we used North Star for Rosie’s board and train!!! She’s a 1 year old golden doodle who struggled with manners and constantly pulling while being walked on her leash. We still have our fun, loving and very social pup, but now she’s able to follow commands allowing us to better manage situations where she needs to demonstrate manners and boundaries. The first session paid for itself. Shannon has gone above and beyond to provide an individualized approach for our sweet, but overly-excited labor-doodle, Lady. I can honestly say she looks forward to class, enjoys learnng, and has learned everything we expected and more…. And we still have one session left!!! If you are on the fence, do it!   • We highly recommend North Star K9 Training, specifically Shannon. Our Zoe spent two weeks with Shannon and came home a well-behaved, well-mannered dog we could confidently take with us to pet friendly places. While we were confident in the well-being and safety of Zoe while in Shannon's care, as Shannon's love for dogs is obvious, we were provided daily photo updates and frequent short videos. It was nice to see the progress being made in such a short time and comforting to see her each day. I highly recommend North Star K9. We absolutely adore North Star K9. They truly care about you and your dog. Most importantly they care about your dog's success and living a happy dog life.
